Salik Electronic Toll Road System in Dubai

Salik is Dubai’s electronic toll road system, utilizing RFID technology to automatically deduct fees when vehicles pass through toll gates.

Toll Charges

A fixed charge of AED 5.25 (including tax) is applied for each Salik passing.

Operational Salik Gates

Dubai currently has 8 operational Salik gates:

  • Al Garhoud Bridge
  • Al Mamzar South (listed twice in the original text)
  • Al Safa
  • Al Barsha
  • Al Maktoum
  • Airport Tunnel Gate
  • Jabel Ali

How It Works

All vehicles are equipped with a “Salik tag” which registers the vehicle as it passes through a Salik checkpoint. The toll is automatically deducted from the tag.

Rental Process

At the end of your rental period or during renewal, you will be informed of the number of Salik passes incurred, and the corresponding charges will be applied.

Future Expansion

Salik implementation in Abu Dhabi is currently underway.
